Configuring Cisco 7960 Phones at sites with Dell Switches

Steps to configure Phones at Regus Sites with Dell Switches:

  1.  Plug in the Ethernet cable - press 'Settings'
  2.  Press 3 for 'Network Configuration'
  3.  Press 33 for 'Erase Configuration'
  4.  Press * * #, and then click on the 'Yes', and then 'Save'
  5.  Wait about 1 minutes.
  6.  Press 'Settings' again.
  7.  Press 3 for 'Network Configuration'
  8.  Press 20 for 'Admin VLAN ID'
  9.  Press **#, pres ‘Edit’
  10.  Type ‘10’, press ‘Validate’, and ‘Save’ – and then ‘Cancel’

The phone should come up.
