Worldwide Toll free Numbers

International Toll Free Service (ITFS)

provides a customer the ability to receive telephone calls from international countries (locations outside Canada and the United States) toll free to the caller.  It is also known in the international market as International Freephone Service (IFS) and many European countries refer to ITFS or IFS numbers as "Green Numbers". Like domestic Toll-Free service, the call is toll-free to the caller and billed to the recipient in Canada.  Canadian ITFS customers must identify and subscribe to each individual country that they wish to receive toll-free calls from.  Example: If Epik's end user wants to receive Toll-Free calls from all European countries they must subscribe and obtain approximately 20 different toll-free numbers. A separate order for each respective country is required.  TFS is available in over seventy (70) countries.

Universal International Freephone Number (UIFN) is a numbering format complementing the International Toll free Service (ITFS) by allowing a customer to use a unique, single and common toll free number in all UIFN participating countries. UIFN must be provided between a minimum of two international countries. At Allstream, calls originating from the U.S. are considered as domestic therefore UIFN calls can only be received from countries other than the U.S. and Canada.  UIFN dialled calls from the US or Canada and destined to terminate in Canada are not completed. Callers must utilize the regular domestic toll free number.

If you only need to reach one country, this would be the best service for your needs.    Monthly charge for ITFS $12/month each country
One-time charge for ITFS $150 each country
Monthly charge for UIFN $30/month
One-time charge for UIFN $360
*Listing of participating countries can be provided.
The per minute rate for UK Toll Free is $0.27 (for termination into Canada).
This rate may change at any time.
NOTES to International Toll Free:  Features are separately priced and are not included in the above.  UK is considered 1 country.

The telecommunications laws of many countries prohibit the use of International Toll Free Service for the purpose of Resale, Third Party Resale, Call Back applications, International Calling Card Services for use within their countries or any other application that may be deemed unlawful. These countries require the Canadian applicant to provide a signed Letter of Declaration on Company stationary or their respective Form of Declaration before the service will be provided. The countries that require a Letter or Form of Declaration have been indicated above with **.  The time frame for setting up UIFN or ITFS range up to 30 days, some countries can be provisioned earlier.  We'll have a better idea when the order is in.    The usage is based on a flat rate per minute, per country.  Rates per minute are rated with a minimum of 30 secods per call and 6 second increments thereafter.
