The Dial Plan Length option cannot be changed after creating the partition.

- Change the Primary SBC to the appropriate one based on location of the customer. Also, change the Pwd Expiration Days to either 30 or 60 days maximum. Set Password Sequential Restriction to 3, and Password repetitive restriction to 2.
- Under the Customer Owned DIDs tab, add just the main DIDs that the customer will be using. Rest of the DIDs should be added after the partition is created.
- Similarly, under the Non-DIDs tab, add just one of the extensions that the customer will be using. Rest of the extensions should be added after the partition is created. Click Create.
- The next step is the create a Main User. Right click on the newly created partition, andclick Create User.
- Create the user as usual, except, under the Extension tab, make sure that the Non-DID checkbox is unchecked. Create the user. Make sure to enter the Override Caller ID as the DID chosen for this user (i.e. 4165551212) and the Override Caller ID Name as the default outbound CID to be displayed.
- Right-click on the new partition and click Edit.
- Change the Main Line User to the user just created. (Also change the Pwd Expiration Days to 0).
- Change to the Components view. Click on Number plan in the list to the left. Then, double click on the partitions internal number plan. Scroll down to the outbound dial digit you selected when you created the partition. Double click on this, and connect to the appropriate outbound dial component for the client's region (Contact the NOC if you do not know what to choose).
- Next, click on Class of Service from the components list. Choose the Class of Service for the partition you just created. Delete all entries in restricted and Valid Prefixes. Add the following prefixes to Restricted: 1900, 1976. Add the following prefixes to Valid: 011,1,11,1800,1888,1877,1866. Go to the Feature restrictions tab and set Moderator to No Restrictions.
