Creating a Virtual Office (VO) Client

To create a VO follow the below steps

  1. Under View>Wizards>Customers, select partition> create User
  2. Fill all the fields described below accordingly

 create user

Under Information tab

  • Template -- Voicemail only 
  • Name -- VM ( Name of the client ) 
  • Partition -- Automatically selects your company name (if not select your company name)
  • Feature set -- In most cases it is set to basic feature (please clickHere for more knowledge on feature sets)

Under Extension tab

  • Extension-- if you need to assign a direct line to the client (with no reception answering calls) choose the DID.
  • For any other requirements please follow the link Here how to use did and non did 
  • Overide caller ID -- Select the DID assigned to the client 
  • Overide caller name -- name of the client

Under Voicemail tab 

  • Voicemail option -- select the appropriate one (shared, no voicemail or voicemail) 
  • Voicemail password -- default to use is 1234 (can be changed later)
  • Email password -- default is 1234 
  • Email login -- (main line number of the whole partition) . OR x OR -  (extension of the client) for eg: 4169217000.4045

Under Line Features tab

  • This tab is only required if we need to use a call forward setup for a client . click for more information

We don't use any other tabs for creating VO

Click Create to complete.
