Finding & Joining A Meet-Me Conference
Finding a Meet-Me Conference
- Click on the Conferencing tab.
- Click on the Find tab.
- Enter one or more of the following to be used for the search:
- Moderator Name
- Guest ID
- Date (in MM/DD/YYYY format)
- Subject
Tip: The more fields you can enter, the fewer conferences you will have to search through to find the correct one.
4. Click Find.
5. A list of matching conferences is returned and can be sorted.
NOTE: Searching for a Meet-Me Conference will not provide you with the Guest ID if you have forgotten it. If you cannot find the Guest ID, you will have to ask the moderator for it.
Joining a Meet-Me Conference
To join a conference call, you must dial in to the conference using your phone. However, the Web Portal provides links to allow you to “click to join” a conference.
NOTE: When you join a conference, if the conference is not yet active, you will hear music play while you wait. You can enter #2 on your phone to stop the playing of music while you are on hold. You can restart the music by entering #2 again. When the conference becomes active, you will be connected to the conference.
1. Click the Conferencing tab, then click the Join tab.
2. If you are joining a conference using a phone that is internal to the company or the phone network, click the 522 link (or dial 522 using your phone’s dial pad).
3. If you are joining a conference from outside the company or the IP phone network, click on the link for the external phone conference access number or dial that number using your phone’s dial pad.
4. Follow the system prompts on your telephone to join the conference.
NOTE: The field labeled Conference ID can be used to launch a Conference Control Window.
